DISC MOWERS KT SERIES equipped with PerfectCUT® cutterbar
Basing on the experience of our customers in Poland and in Western Europe we have introduced to our production series of mowers equipped with new cutterbar PerfectCUT. At the same time we have designed series of rear disc mowers KT with working width 2,60 m, 3,00 m and 3,40 m, which replaces in our offer mowers with central suspension - KDTC.

PerfectCUT cutterbars are characterized by even better cutting quality even when it comes to very low grass. Precise cutting, high quality of used materials, special safety device (cut-off key), quick and easy module replacement thanks to modernized disc upper hub are the main advanteges of PerfectCUT cutterbar. This cutterbar will be mounted in every SaMASZ disc mower apart from KDF 390 model and KDL with Comer cutterbar. HEAVYDUTY cutterbars – for high cutting – design to operate on stoney or peat meadows, will be available on demand.

New cutterbar has also lower cutting height (with inclination 5° - 44 mm.) Thanks to that solution we can reach better quality of cut forage (recommended for lower grass).

KT mowers are centrally suspended and have in standard equipment spring suspension of the cutterbar. On demand it can be equipped with hydro-pneumatic suspension. This solution replaces traditional springs and improves work comfort. Thanks to hydro-pneumatic suspension, the operator by means of tractor’s hydraulics can easily adjust force of the pressure of cutterbar on the ground. Thanks to that the force of the pressure on the ground is always the same no matter how the terrain is shaped. It enables optimum stubble protection, clean swath and eventually better quality of fodder.
The unit is integrated with hydraulic safety device, which protects the mower against hitting into immovable obstacle. In the event of hitting an immovable obstacle the cutterbar folds back and at the same time rises about 70 degrees. After that, the cutterbar automatically comes back to working position. KT 26 and KT 30 models can be additionally equipped with tine or roller conditioner, thanks to which we can reach better drying effect of cut forage.

The main advantage of KT series is the possibility of being transported in three positions: At the back or in the axle of the tractor – vertically or horizontally (pictures beside), which gives better tractor balance and improves comfort of mower’s manouvering mainly on narrow roads.
