The first SaMASZ meadow maneuvers in the USA

SaMASZ meadow maneuvers are an original event that gives farmers the opportunity to test agricultural machines. Every year, SaMASZ organizes a tour around Poland, so that farmers from different regions have the chance to get acquainted with the offer of machines at work.

This year, on July 12, 2023, for the first time, maneuvers under the name SaMASZ Field Days in cooperation with the dealer Woodlake LLC took place in the United States, in the state of Pennsylvania, Woodbury.

The aim of the first edition of SaMASZ Field Days was primarily to present machines at work to American farmers. In this way, American farmers could judge for themselves the quality of mowing, tedding and raking under local grassland conditions.

In America, it's all about efficiency

During SaMASZ Field Days there were high-performance machines - these work best in American conditions:

  • GigaCUT set consisting of two rear disc mowers KDD 941S and front disk mowers KDF 341S (working width 9.4 m, hourly capacity: 11 ha),
  • rear disc mower XT 390 (working width 3.90 m, capacity 4.50 ha/h) together with front mower KDF 340 (working width 3.40 m, capacity: 4 ha/h),
  • trailed mower with cylindrical conditioner KDC 341W (working width 3.40 m, capacity 4 ha/h),
  • lightweight disc mower Samba 240 (working width 2.40 m, capacity 2.5 ha/h),
  • tedder P6-771C (working width: 7.7 m, capacity: approx. 9 ha/h),
  • serial rake DUO 740 (working width adjustable 3.7-7.4 m, capacity within 8 ha/h) laying one or two swaths with the option of raking to the previous row.

Eight years and four thousand machines

SaMASZ North America based in New Jersey, USA has been operating since 2015. During this time, the company sold 4,000 machines worth $30 million.

  • Our network of authorized dealers is constantly developing and expanding to new regions of North America – says Krzysztof Borawski, Export Manager SaMASZ North America.
  • Thanks to new products introduced to the North American market, such as the MRG 2-900 belt rake or the P10-1100T rotary tedder, we are becoming more and more competitive on the local market, which requires high-performance machines - says Szymon Kucharski, Export Manager SaMASZ North America.

SaMASZ exports 65% of production

SaMASZ product offer includes almost 300 types of machines, exported to 70 markets around the world through a network of trading partners, recording an increase in revenues every year. In the years 2018-2022, they more than doubled (by exactly 122%) and in 2022 they reached PLN 354 million.
